Daniel Sussex
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Daniel brings over 25 years industry experience to the organisation. During that time, he has specialised in the retail sector as a loss prevention operative across bespoke High Street outlets.
Daniel is also a licensed close protection operative and a Community First Responder.
He has achieved many accolades in combating theft, organised retail crime & organised groups for their businesses.
He was Awarded the highest arresting Loss Prevention officer award on multiple occasions in the UK.
Daniel is actively involved in leading from the front and is still active in the field for our prestigious clients and large events.
Daniel was featured in a documentary based around retail security for Channel 4.
Richard Sussex
CEO
Richard brings over 25 years of security experience to the company.
During that time Richard has specialised in close protection work and major sporting events – notably working with Sky sports and match room boxing.
Richard oversees our bespoke portfolio of celebrity clients for both their personal and professional needs and has developed a reputation within this sector as the leader in he’s field.
As part of the senior management team Richard is involved in strategy management, direction and the company’s growth and development.
Leeroy Sussex
CEO
Leeroy brings over 20 years of experience in promoting and managing venues a cross Brighton and Sussex. As Sussex Security Services CEO, Leeroy ensures the growth of the the business and the day to day activities are completed to a high standard.
Leeroy’s primary role within the company is to oversee the strategic principles of the organisation especially within the core client areas of Holiday Parks, Hotels and Corporate Clients.
Leeroy ensures daily that all staff are compliant verified and works with all stakeholders to ensure the professional running of our relationship with our core clients.
Leeroy brings to the company an experienced and successful background of managing and overseeing Boxing and MMA events, working with multiple promoters and venues across the United Kingdom and Europe.
Jamie Sussex
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Jamie recently joined the security industry following a successful career in Sales, Customer Services, and previously managing corporate companies.
His role within the company as a hands-on Business Development Manager is developing new and existing business as well as being at our major festivals and events as a point of contact to our clients and organisers.
Jamie offers an exemplary function to provide both live and recorded data to support the business and the clients requirements.
Ollie Smart
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ollie has been in the security industry for over 13 years and has established experience and knowledge in this time. During that time Ollie has been a supervisor and manager at several companies, before coming to Sussex Security Services.
Ollie has worked in some of the largest sporting stadiums in the UK starting as a security operative, working his way up to response team leader. He is also first aid trained which makes him an asset to the company and the public.
Ollie’s knowledge of leadership in security has given him the opportunity to become our operations manager across the South of England.
Ricky Watson
RESPONSE MANAGER
Ian Dawkins
EVENT MANAGER
Ian is an established events and logistic professional with substantial experience working across a wide range of roles and different types of events.
Ian has worked with several high-profiled events, festivals and venues. Also with prominent corporate stakeholders, alongside a broad range of different people in roles and industries.
Harry Atkinson
K-9 HANDLER
Harry has been in the security industry for many years and in that time he has been a lead security supervisor for the company, at multiple holiday parks across the United Kingdom.
Harry has also undertaken his Dog Handler License and has recently become Sussex Security’s new K-9 Handler.
Harry’s new role will see him at our events and venues across the country.
Shayan Baig
EVENT SUPERVISOR
Shayan is new to the security industry, but has worked previously for Sussex Security.
Shayan has come from a corporate and hospitality background, bringing with him a professional approach and fantastic customer service.
Shayan plays a key role at our events as a supervisor. He carries out frequent welfare checks on all of our team members to ensure a strong and motivated work approach.
Myvia Tarrant
EVENT SUPERVISOR
Myvia is one of our lead supervisors who manages our pubs and clubs across the United Kingdom.
Myvia’s experience ranges from hotels to nightclubs. Myvia has spent many years working at pubs and clubs as a security operative and in that time he has worked his way up to supervisor.
Myvia has also started overseeing some of our events and shows and will continue to in the future.
Joanna Carr
EVENT CONTROLLER
Joanna has been working in the security industry for over 10 years and has gained a vast amount of experience, which benefits her in the role of supervisor at Sussex Security Services.
Joanna has worked throughout Brighton for many years in pubs, clubs and hotels and is a familiar and trusted face in the area as well as in the industry.
Joanna has and continues to run our regular events across the UK.
Jodie Meredith
EVENT SUPERVISOR
Jodie has been a licensed security operative for over 6 years and plays a key role at Sussex Security Services.
Jodie is a lead supervisor at some of our largest sporting events, which take place across the United Kingdom and Europe. Jodie’s experience and knowledge in security at sporting events has made her a trusted and well known figure within the sporting community.
Jodie also attends private sporting shows and other events as a supervisor and planner.
Shaun Monaghan
EVENT SUPERVISOR
Shaun has been in the security industry for many years and in that time he has supervised security teams at several holiday parks across the country.
Shaun is also a Licensed Close Protection Officer and over the last 4 years has completed multiple CP operations across the UK and Europe.
Craig Powell
SECURITY ANALYST
Craig is an Experienced Operations leader with a demonstrated history of working in the security and investigations industry. Skilled in Coaching, Communication, Mentoring, Management and Leadership.
Strong military and protective services, professional graduated from Chartered Management Institute.
Natasha Arghiros
HUMAN RESOURCES
Natasha is Sussex Security Services HR Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the security industry.
